You can find ladies in all sorts of places in all sorts of ways! In fact there are so many places you may not even know about them all! So I thought we'd write you a little bit of information to make your search easier, so you can find the perfect lady for you.

Where can you find ladies?!

• Private Workers - internet, local papers, major papers, magazines, Yellow Pages online/in the book and their affiliate sites like Sensis.

These are generally online 'virtual communities' where people exchange information, reviews, stories, have discussions on the adult industry and all things associated with it. They consist of user-generated content, but may also incorporate advertising space within the forum. A forum is made up of sub-forums which deal with specific content on an issue eg. review of a lady, jokes, newspaper article etc.

Anonymity on an adult forum is the norm, with people making up anonymous log in names to be known by. If an adult forum asks for your real name or details, I would avoid it like the plague. There is no need for an adult forum to have this information and you would not be safe if a forum had this information.

A forum is adminstrated by forum administrators, moderators and may have things like mentors, charter members who help out with monitoring the content on the site to make sure it follows the forums guidelines. Moderators etc, also help to keep members on the site safe from spamming, abuse, people divulging inappropriate information and being well informed people you can go to if you have an issue. Moderators generally have access to the back end of a site so they are able to edit posts, delete them or moderate user's.

Forums are a great place to exchange information with ladies and other punters, read reviews, take time out from a revolting day discussing anything from the daily news to their favourite lady to see. Personal Websites

Personal websites are a growing part of the industry in Australia, although they are no where near as prolific as they are with the overseas market. Forums and directories still seem to be the preferred method of advertising for Australian based ladies, although to be listed on the major directories, you need a website too link to. For this reason, if you're looking for an Australian lady, you're best to check the Australian based forums and directories.

To find an Australian ladies website there are a few options to search.

1.  Search engines - to search for a lady I would recommend you use Google because they have the largest listings for Escorts world wide. Yahoo, live search, altavista etc do not have as larger market as Google and the Search Engine Optimisation that website owners do, are aimed at rising in Google ranks. If you are looking for a Sydney based escort type in "Sydney Escort" and out will pop several independent ladies with their own websites. You may not get a huge amount of ladies with websites appear because it takes alot of time and/or money to sit at the top of search engines. The ladies who will appear generally pump alot of time, money and effort into appearing in the top of search engines.

2.  Links - you can check the link pages of directories or other private ladies websites. There you will find a whole bunch of banners. Click on a banner and it will pop you thru to another ladies website

3.  Directories/Forums - when you pop in your search terms into Google and it spits out some private ladies websites, it will also spit out some directories/forums links as well. Explore some of these directories and you will find some ladies with websites may be advertising on the directory that do not appear in search engines. The major overseas directories like Open Adult Directory, will only list ladies with websites, so you can try the major overseas directories for more independent websites.

When searching for a private lady, be aware that many agency's are now creating websites for ladies and representing them as privates and they aren't. This is because the market for private workers is growing very quickly so they are trying to capture a market share of the industry.

Brothels, massage parlours and Strip Tease businesses are now also beginning to build websites in Australia. Once again they are no-where near as common as they are overseas, but they are beginning to appear. Their websites will generally give their location, street address, phone number and a list of all of their ladies and a basic description. Establishments, but particularly escort agency's are well known for using fake pictures though, so be careful when booking ladies.

Reviews

Reviews can be a brilliant way to find a lady to meet your wish list. When reading reviews, the main thing to remember is that YMMV (Your Mileage May Vary), which basically means, the experience the reviewer is writing about was his experience and that your experience may vary/not be the same.

A review should have the basic information of the ladies/establishments contact detials, website, what they looked like, if the pictures were accurate, what the experience was like, if they would recommend the lady to others, how it made them feel, overall impressions.

A Directory is a listing of ladies and may or may not be attached to a forum. An Internet directory by definition is a website that specialises in linking with other websites and chategorises those links. Adult directories are very specific in how they link and how they chategorise those links. For example Open Adult Directory is a World Wide Directory of Female Escorts who must have a website to get a link on their directory and must provide a link back to the Directory. Open Adult Directory has a general Home Page with options presented for each country in the world. When you click on Australia, it will then open a directory page, listing all the adult service providors in Australia who have websites you can look at.

Local Papers Online

Agency's, establishments and private ladies advertise in local papers. You can search the classified sections of some local papers online, however other local papers will only let you search if you sign up for membership, pay for the search or are a paid/potential adveriser. When you do searches with local papers online, they will usually not have escorts and anyone else who offers full service online. This means when you search you have to be clever with your search terms. More often than not if you put in the search term "escorts" or "adult services" you will come up with a blank. BUT if you search with "massage" you will get loads of returns.

This is from a wesbite called the Village Voice which is attached to the local paper publication The Wentworth Courier. If you were looking for an escort or private lady in the same paper that was not the online version, you'd find them at the back of the paper under "Adult Services", but for some reason when they put them online, they will not allow them to be listed under those words.

Dating Sites

Many private workers and escort agency's are now soliciting on online dating sites like RedHot Pie, LavaLife, Millionaires and Babes, RSVP (tricky to do on this one) Adult Match Maker (this is a popular one and AMM has actually set up an affiliate program partnership with one of the main forums in Australia to get ghost/fake membership profiles to boost the membership numbers on each others sites. Although if you are caught soliciting on their site they will throw you off - very hypocritical and we wouldn't support them).

Ladies have to be very careful how they word their profiles and how they go about responding to enquiries on these sites, but most ladies are fairly upfront once you approach them and ask them to meet up. If they are reported for it to site admin, they will be thrown off. I suppose the thing to

Yellow Pages

Yellow Pages and it's other brands ie. Sensis etc, have an online search facility for the adult industry. It is VERY expensive to advertise on and they are not the easiest people to deal with and have a bad reputation with the ladies who have used them. For these reasons you will mainly find larger agency's advertising on them. Advertiser's don't report they get much response from online advertising with these directories and clients report the search features are crap and it's hard to navigate the sites, so they aren't popular on the whole. However, they do have ladies, agency's, parlours etc listed, so if you're desperate and would like to look further, you could always try Yellow Pages online as an option.

The Yellow Pages in it's book form is ridiculously expensive (a 4 line non color ad costs $5k a year!), so you wont find any privates advertising in there. If however you don't wish to use your computer to search because you're on a work computer, the Yellow Pages and it's associated publications are a good option for finding escort agency's and establishments. Many establishments or agency's who advertise in them will have multiple full page ads using different names, so if you decide to call different ads at different prices, just be aware of the voice you're talking to and remember it, because you may be speaking to the same receptionist again in a few minutes, selling you the same ladies at quadruple the price.

Blogs

A Blog (web log) is a website written and maintained by an escort (and maybe even an agency, although I'm yet to see one) that can describe anything from the day to day happenings as an escort or what's been happening for a lady as a real person in their normal life. It may describe clients and what they do with clients in bookings, it may just go on about insane crazy stuff, or ladies may use it as an educational tool. Whatever ladies write on them, they are a marketing tool.

A Blog will give you a further insight into a ladies personality, her thoughts and feelings, what she likes to do in a booking, her values... all of those things that you wont necessarily be able to gauge in a traditional website. They act as an extra point of reference when you are helping to choose an escort.

You can find ladies blogs attached to their websites, although there are now many Weblog sites that act as directories that specialise in escort blogs. An example of this is Escort Blogs which predominately has US Escorts Blogs on it, although I'm an Australian Escort and I blog on it and it has bought me lots of work in Sydney. Blogging is the norm in the US and to a large extent the UK, however there aren't many girls in Australia keeping them at this stage (I can only name 2 in Australia - Lucy Blake, Roybn Leslie; and 1 in New Zealand Sally Munroe)

Chatrooms

Chatrooms are available online and are usually located as a feature on a forum. Chatrooms make other punters available as a live resource (if you'd like to discuss ladies or a review in more details), but are also known to be frequented by working ladies. A chatroom allows you to speak in depth with other punters who may not like writing reviews, but are more than willing to discuss their exploits/who they have seen in a chatroom. Ladies go to chatrooms to "trawl" for business, meaning they go into chatrooms to try and chat you up so you will book them, or to show you a part of their personality that may not come across in their generic advertising. They make themselves available so you can ask them questions or so you can make a booking.

Private Chat is a feature commonly available in chatrooms which allows you to talk privately to a lady or a punter without the rest of the room seeing. This is useful if you wish to make a booking with a lady without the rest of the room seeing, or if you want to ask details from another guy, but don't want to do it in front of the rest of the people in the chatroom.

Most forums will have a chatroom and it is usually found as a menu item at the top of the forum. Chatrooms will generally show who is currently in the room chatting, so if you see somewhere in there you'd like to talk to, you will know to jump in. Chatroom etiquette will vary from site to site, but as a general rule, when you enter a chatroom say hello to everyone, be polite and awaaaaay you go. Both local and the larger newspapers usually carry adult services advertisements. The local newspapers are generally put out by the larger newspaper publications including supplement magazines like 9 to 5. You will generally find more ladies, establishments, parlours listed in local papers rather than the newspapers larger publications like The Telegraph. This is because the larger papers are VERY expensive, make you advertise for a looong minimum period and they do not allow you to target your advertising, loads of tyre kickers/time wasters, all of which makes it undesirable as an advertising medium for ladies.

Depending on the State you're in, different papers will be more useful for finding adult services than others. To find your local newspaper, please have a little look at the site below.....

If a paper has a section for the adult industry, they will be located at the back of the newspaper where all of the business ads are found for tradesmen, accountants, gardeners etc. The business advertisements are generally listed alphabetically and then ladies/establishments will be listed alphabetically. The phone sex ads will generally come first, followed by the ladies/establishments. Adult services ads will vary in size, layout, what they can and can't say and if they use pictures depending on the newspaper. All newspapers I have ever advertised in have encouraged me to advertise in an illegal manner (ladies we will write a page about newspaper advertising in your section), and different States will have restrictions/legislation on what you can or cannot advertise. In general there may not be alot of information in an ad, but that's not the ladies fault, it is a financial and legal issue so please don't be turned off by that.

A typical ad will read:

They may or may not give a website to look at, may give you a photograph or a line drawing to look at, may detail the service, may give you pricing (all of which is illegal to do), may give you an area they are located etc, but the above is a typical basic ad.

It is now virtually impossible to tell if the ad is placed by an agency or a private worker. Many agency's have caught onto the fact that many men may prefer to see private workers, so the agency's purchase 20 mobile phones and advertise 20 ladies off these different phone numbers and pretend they are private workers when someone calls. Traditionally agency's used landlines and you could spot a private worker thru the use of a mobile number, but there is no real way to spot them anymore. If you ask the person when they pick up if they work for an agency or are an independent, most agency's will lie about that as well. What most men do when looking for a lady is call every single ad in the paper. By doing this you should be able to spot a genuine private worker and a receptionist answering phones pretending to be a private worker.

Some papers will only publish adult services once a week in their publications even though they may come out everyday. The best thing to do is have a read of them all and find the day when the advertisements appear and/or which days most ladies like to advertise.

Street based sex worker advertise in the flesh so you can drive around looking for them, or the most effecient way to find street based ladies, is by checking review forums. 

Where they are located technically should be dictated by the law, but quite often they are found in areas zoned as illegal to work from. This has implications for them and for you if you decide to try and pick one up from an illegal working area and can also have implications if you're just driving past looking at them. Review forums are the best and most discreet way to find street based ladies if you are unfamiliar with the areas they may stand. Gents on review forums will detail who is available where, maybe give a name (if they remember it), describe the lady, details what they did and where. They will also often report on any Police activity in the area and be able to give you insight into the days there are more ladies around on the streets.

Line Ups - for establishments and massage parlours

Private or Discreet Line Ups 

Line Ups are traditionally done one on one in Australia. This means you will put into a private room when you get to a brothel or massage parlor, and the ladies will come in one at a time and introduce themselves. You then choose the lady you would like to see, let the receptionist know and she will then send the lady in to take you to a room.

Mass Line Ups

Some brothels do have mass line ups with 2 methods generally being employed:

1.  ladies will be made to stand in a line together and/or sit in a room either behind two way glass so you can see them but they cannot see you, and you pick them from the line (this is where the term line up comes from). This practice is widely used in the legal brothels in the US and Asia, but thankfully hasn't caught on much here yet.

2.  In Melbourne and in NSW, there are establishments and parlors that will have a bar/lounge facility set up where the client is able to have a drink at the bar (generally non alcoholic), have a game of pool with the ladies and the ladies will come up and introduce themselves one at a time. Ladies 'hustle' for your services, but it is basically just a less crass way of doing a line up. Western brothels that present their ladies in this manner, will often have a cover charge to go in and sit in the bar and have the ladies hustle you. This is to ensure the brothels/parlour makes some money off everyone who walks in whether they book or not. Ladies don't get a cut of this money even though they entertain the men. Many men will go into these establishments to entertain their collegues or friends and have no intention of actually booking ladies.
